DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS 

Thursday, February 4, 2016 - Day 2/B Week

Attention All Students: TODAY is the last day to order your Spirit Wear in the Principal's Office.

Through March 2, dine at Mac & Melts on Stewart Avenue in Garden City. Mention Jericho High School to receive a 10% discount to benefit the Jericho High School Drama Club. 

"SouperHeroes" will be hosting their second annual coat drive until February 12. Please bring in gently used winter clothing to be placed in the bins located in the front circle, by the Sam Springer Gym, and the Cafeteria. 

French Honor Society will be sponsoring a "Jean Drive" until February 12. Please bring new or gently used jeans to the box outside of the Attendance Office. The jeans will go to the organization, "Teens for Jeans," which benefits local youth experiencing homelessness. 

Battle of the Classes is tomorrow. Wear your Battle of the Classes T Shirts. 

Battle of the Classes grade points may be earned by collecting new or lightly used books to be donated to "The Book Fairies." Boxes are located in all English classrooms.

TONIGHT students, teachers and families are all invited to eat dinner with our High School Drama Club at Mac and Melts on Stewart Avenue in Garden City from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. MENTION Jericho High School Drama Club, and 20% of all proceeds will help fund our Spring musical, "Beauty and the Beast." From February 2 to March 2, Mac & Melts will offer a 10% discount to all who mention Jericho High School; and this will go to the Drama Club.

Stitching for Care will be a having a mandatory meeting tomorrow at 3:40 PM in Room 134. New members are welcome.

"The Butler Did It!is the high school musical that will be shown on Thursday, November 20; Friday, November 21; and Saturday, November 22, in the Little Theater at 7:30 PM. Tickets are being sold in the Assistant Principal's office across from the cafeteria for the advanced purchase price of $8, or you can buy tickets at the door for $10.
