Thursday, October 23, 2014 - Day 2/B Week
For all students planning to participate in winter sports, you must bring 2 copies of the parent permission slips and an updated physical to the nurse.

Boys and Girls' Bowling Team will meet TODAY at 3:45 in Room 119.

is the last day the JerEcho will be having a “Bribe to Subscribe” event. Get a chance to win a jar of candy by subscribing to the JerEcho. Look for the candy jars in the HS Cafeteria before 3rd period and during all lunch periods.

Attention 9th Graders: 
A private screening for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay will be shown on November 21 in the Broadway Mall at 7 PM. The first 99 freshmen who bring $15 to Dr. Artiles’ office by October 27 will receive tickets. After this date, the remainder of the seats will be sold to 10th, 11th and 12th graders. This screening is only open to Jericho HS students. You must show your ID card and your paid receipt at the movie theater.

Attention Seniors: 
Please check your Edline account to enter your quote, activities, clubs and sports information for the 2015 Yearbook. The deadline for submitting this information is Wednesday, October 29.

The following schools will be visiting the counseling center today:  Emory University at 10:27, Brown University at 11:11 and Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University at 2:07.You must obtain a pass from your classroom teacher to attend these information sessions.

Tryouts for the talent portion of the Fashion Show will be after school today in the auditorium. Please see Ms. Kahan if you have any questions.

Everyone is invited to attend the first ever Teen Talk at Jericho HS. Please sign up in room 126 before 2 PM today.

Diversity Club will meet tomorrow after school in room

Reminder To All Students: If you plan on taking the PSAT exam TOMORROW, you must submit your check IMMEDIATELY to Mr. Mankowich's AP office.

Attention 9th, 10th and 11th Grade Students: There are still many Photo Packages and/or Photo ID Cards in Dr. Artiles' office. For those students who did not pick them up, you MUST do so TODAY. It is important to have, especially for TOMORROW'S PSAT exam.

Attention Seniors: TODAY the Cap and Gown Measurements for Graduation will take place outside the Cafeteria Lobby from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PMThis is the only time when a representative from Herff Jones will be here to take measurements. Payment is due at this time with cash, money order (payable to Herff Jones), or check (payable to Herff Jones). Package information may by picked up in Dr. Artiles' office or in Ms. Rosenberg's office.

TODAY the Class Ring Order will take place for students graduating in 2015, 2016 and 2017 in the Cafeteria Lobby from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM

Kids Helping Pets will meet on Monday at 8:15 AM in the MS Cafeteria B.

Art/Social Media Awareness Club will be meeting on Monday at 8:15 AM in Room 123.
