Friday, April 21, 2017 - Day 1/A Week
National Day of Silence
 - TODAY - This student-led national event brings awareness to the silencing effects of anti-LGBTQ name-calling, bullying and harassment in schools. Students from middle school to college take a vow of silence in an effort to encourage schools and classmates to address the problem of anti-LGBTQ behavior by illustrating the silencing effect of bullying and harassment on LGBTQ students and those perceived to be LGBTQ. Thank you to all those participating today.

Attention All Students Taking AP Exams in May: TODAY - During Regularly Scheduled Physical Education Class - Little Theater - Preregistration will take place. Report to the Little Theater during your PE class with a #2 pencil.

Fly Fishing Initiative
 - TODAY4:00 PM - Room 261 - Plans for the upcoming fishing trip will be discussed. Attendance is mandatory if you want to go on the trip.

Junior Class
 - Monday - 8:15 AM - Room 133 - Discussing elections. All are welcome!

National Honor Society/Kids Helping Pets Club - The National Honor Society is helping the Kids Helping Pets Club by Being Part of the Art with its donation mural to sponsor a puppy to be named Jayhawk. For a small donation of $2, $5 or $10, have your pet's name added to this beautiful mural; Be Part of the Art; and also help the Kids Helping Pets Club! Go to Dr. Artiles' office to get the details.

"The Butler Did It!is the high school musical that will be shown on Thursday, November 20; Friday, November 21; and Saturday, November 22, in the Little Theater at 7:30 PM. Tickets are being sold in the Assistant Principal's office across from the cafeteria for the advanced purchase price of $8, or you can buy tickets at the door for $10.
