Each year, scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors by the Jericho Scholarship Committee and by individual, local businesses and organizations. Students have received awards ranging from $50 to $1,000.
The recipients are selected by the HS Scholarship Committee comprised of administration, faculty and counselors or by the organization sponsoring the scholarship. These scholarships will be presented at Senior Awards Night in June.
Merit scholarships are awarded based on specific criteria such as community service, academic excellence, leadership, extracurricular activities, doing ones best or personal growth in overcoming some adversity while in high school. Some scholarships include financial need as criteria.
In order to be considered for ANY award, students must complete the appropriate application listed below. Many of these scholarship applications do not have very specific criteria and only require the student's name and some basic information. All applications must be received by the HS Counseling Center by February 11th @ 3:30pm.
