-----------------------------ABOUT------------------------------ Students 15 years or older* can take the learner permit test in school. The tests are offered in Spanish or English and results are immediate. Students who pass the online test will get a receipt and other forms which they can take to any DMV office upon their 16th birthday and apply for a permit. Students who do not pass the test can re-take the test as many times as is necessary. *Students are encouraged to wait until they are closer to their 16th birthday (about 3 mths) before signing up. -----------------------TEST INFORMATION---------------------- The Learners Permit exam will be administered approx. once a month, depending on availability. Dates are listed on Canvas, see notice below for details. The test will begin at 8:15 AM sharp, location TBA Late arrivals cannot be accommodated.
All students are to bring proof of identification on the day of exam. The only acceptable forms of identification are: - Birth Certificate/Passport (photocopy accepted) - School I.D. - NYSDMV issued document.
Pre-registration is required for this service. Sign up begins one week before the exam. Registration will take place in Mrs. Dunckley's office in 263a.
