Services

Counseling services are available for every student. These services include assistance with educational planning, career information, study skills, family, school and/or social concerns, or any concern the student would like to discuss with the counselor.

Students wishing to see their counselor should schedule an appointment.

Parents are welcome to call the Counseling Center. Specific guidance appointments can be scheduled by calling 516-203-3600 x3261. The Counselors are also available on specific evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. for individual appointments Dates are available in the district calendar.

In addition to the counselors, the Counseling Center has a number of other resources that will be of help. There is information on occupations and careers, on colleges and on technical training programs. The Counseling Center also posts dates of important examinations such as SAT's and ACT's and important meetings on the guidance website. Information on college visit and scholarship programs is also posted there.
