Wednesday, February 26, 2020, Day 2 & B Week

Come see Newsies, a well-loved musical with a thrilling plot and catchy tunes. Tickets are now on sale in Dr. Artiles’ office for $10 or you can purchase tickets at the door for $12. Show dates are Thursday March 5th at 6:30 and Friday March 6th and Saturday March 7th at 7:30 in the Jericho Little Theater. We hope to see you there!

Attention Seniors! Check the Class of 2020 Canvas announcements for the list of senior superlative recipients. These students must sign up for a yearbook photo shoot time slot in Dr. Artiles' office by the end of the day on Friday, February 28th. If recipients do not sign up or show up for a photo shoot, their category will be omitted. See Ms. Valenza, Ms. D'Antonio, or Ms. Ryder with any questions.

For all the students who would like to participate in spring sports, this is a reminder to sign up through Family ID.

If you would like to donate any new or gently used prom dresses, bridesmaid dresses, sweet 16, etc and accessories - jewelry, dressy shoes, evening bags, wraps, etc. please drop off to room 239 by March 6th.

On this day in history:  in 1926, Carter G. Woodson started Negro History Week. This week would later become Black History Month. Also, on this day in 1869, Fifteenth Amendment guaranteeing the right to vote sent to the states for ratification.
